Frigate Bay is the part of St Kitts that holidaymakers and investors picture: a slender neck of land just outside Basseterre with the Atlantic on one side and the calmer Caribbean on the other. The Strip lines the beach with bars and restaurants, the Royal St Kitts golf course rolls along the dunes, and gated resort communities and the region's largest casino complete the scene.
