Songshan is where central Taipei's financial muscle sits beside one of the city's most cherished residential enclaves. The Dunhua and Nanjing East Road corridor hums with banks and corporate offices, while a few blocks north the Minsheng Community unfolds as a low-rise grid of leafy lanes, pocket parks and the indie cafe culture of Fujin Street. The district rewards lifestyle and prestige buyers more than yield hunters. Excellent MRT access, the Raohe Street Night Market, riverside bike paths and a Michelin-noticed dining scene make it endlessly liveable, but high entry prices keep gross yields near 2%. For investors, Songshan is a play on central-Taipei scarcity and capital preservation, with the honest caveats of a cooling 2025 market and rising holding-tax costs.
