Trešnjevka

Zagreb's value-yield district, rising Trešnjevka: the market square, good transit and the city's stronger yields (~4.5–5%)

About Trešnjevka

Trešnjevka is a lively, mixed-use central-west district of Zagreb: well-served and rising in popularity, it blends older buildings with new construction around the Trešnjevka market and square, with the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla nearby and strong tram connectivity. For investors, Trešnjevka is the city's value-and-yield play: more affordable than the centre with stronger gross yields of ~4.5–5% and a deep first-time-buyer and young-professional tenant base. EU/EEA citizens buy freely; non-EU buyers need reciprocity plus Ministry of Justice consent (or a Croatian company), and pay a 3% transfer tax. Croatia uses the euro and has no golden visa.
