About Akrotiri

Akrotiri spreads across the peninsula above Chania, home to the Technical University of Crete at Kounoupidiana, the hilltop Venizelos Graves with their famous view, the 17th-century Agia Triada Monastery and the Stavros cove made famous by Zorba the Greek. It is a spacious, semi-rural address, villas, plots and family homes, with student-rental demand near the university and the airport close at hand. Pricing tracks Chania's strong market (~€3,000–€3,600/m², higher for sea views); bigger view villas can reach the €800k Golden Visa threshold.
