About Roucas Blanc (7e)

Roucas Blanc climbs the slope of the 7e between Notre-Dame de la Garde and the sea, named for the white rock at its core. Once the summer-villa retreat of Marseille's merchant families, its stair-streets and walled gardens command panoramic views over the bay, the Frioul islands and the Corniche Kennedy, with the Catalans beach, Vallon des Auffes and renowned seafood tables (Chez Fonfon, L'Épuisette) just below. It is among the calmest and safest parts of the city, favoured by affluent families and lifestyle buyers, and hosted the Paris 2024 Olympic sailing events at its marina. Real estate here is firmly trophy-tier, villas can reach €8,000–€10,000+/m², so the proposition is prestige, views and capital preservation rather than rental yield, and a car is effectively essential given the gradients.
