About Sempione

Sempione is defined by Milan's great central green space, the 40-hectare Parco Sempione, laid out in the 1890s as an English-style garden stretching from the medieval Castello Sforzesco to the neoclassical Arco della Pace. Within and around the park sit the Triennale di Milano design museum, the Torre Branca panoramic tower, the Arena Civica and one of the EU's oldest aquariums, giving the area deep cultural pedigree. The surrounding Pagano and Arco della Pace streets form one of Milan's most prestigious residential addresses, with elegant period apartments and refined boutiques along Corso Sempione and Corso Vercelli. Metro M1/M2 at Cadorna (with the Malpensa Express airport link) and multiple tram lines keep this leafy, upscale enclave fully connected to the heart of the city.
